#SeriousFun is thrilled to be able to start our early registration bonus week of child care to be there for our families at the beginning of the new school year! We’re so excited to see your children’s smiling faces and hope they’re ready for an amazing year of arts enrichment, fun activities, and making new and lasting memories. *For families who registered by Sept. 5, 2022, submitted their registration packet and have attended or registered for family orientation. *Evening Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, so there is no Serious Fun that day.

Happy first day of school everyone! We hope the children have a wonderful day filled with learning, fun and the start of new and lasting friendships. We’re excited to see our students smiling faces at Serious Fun After School on our starting date, Sept 12, 2022!

#SeriousFunAfterSchool had an amazing week of training and team building! We’re getting ready for a Seriously Fun new school year–with our talented art professionals and dedicated team members! We are so looking forward to seeing the big smiles on our students faces and making new, wonderful memories this year.

We had such a great time during the #SeriousFun’s #SummerMusicalTheaterCamp, in partnership with the Department of Youth @NYCYouth and Community Development #DYCD! It was so inspiring to work with these remarkable children and watch them learn and form special friendships with one another. We were so impressed by their hard work and creativity in producing an amazing and memorable show! We hope to see you all again next summer.

#SeriousFun in partnership with #CompassNYC @NYCYouth #DYCD is proud to present, “Mundo de las Maravillas”! Written and performed by the 2022 Summer Musical Theater Camp COMPASS Ensemble! Over the last 5 weeks, the children worked collaboratively with our theater professionals to create and produce an original musical theater production! They developed skills in acting, choreography, musical composition, singing, technical design, and writing–and we are so excited to showcase their amazing talents for families and friends tomorrow.

Some very curious #SeriousFun Kids and Team members visited @theconnectedchef in #LICQueens and had fun learning about growing healthy foods and tasting some yummy, fresh veggies. The Connected Chef offers fresh food outreach that serves over 700 local families! The #SeriousFun Team had a field day @Socceroof LIC with Coach Kyle Bergman @throwbackfit. Taking time together to have some Serious FUN!

We are so excited to begin the Serious Fun 6 week Musical Theater Camp! The Serious Fun Team looks forward to spending the next 6 weeks giving students the opportunity to work with industry professionals and talented artists while collaborating with each other to create a full musical production that is uniquely their own! Serious Fun After School is proud to offer this Musical Theater program for FREE thanks to the generous support of the City of New York COMPASS program @NYCYouth–a partnership with the Department of Youth and Community Development #DYCD.
