How much does it cost?

 

Fall 2023-2024 Program Pre-registration

Whether it’s one day or five days, your child can attend Serious Fun as many days per week as you need care. Our tuition includes all activities, enrichment materials and wrap around care until 5:45 pm.

Registration Fee:
$100.00 per family (Non-Refundable)
 
Discounts:
All discounts are applied at checkout with tuition amounts reflected in your cart.

Multi-Day Discount:
Enroll during pre-registration for discounts up to $950 (Full Year).
Enroll during registration in 3+ or more days per week for multi-day discounts.

Sibling Discount:
$100 off total tuition for each additional sibling.
 
Drop-in Days
We offer a drop-in day for registered families only at a rate of $45 per day.  You must notify your Site Supervisor with 2 school days’ notice before the date of service. No more than 5 drop-in days may be used in a calendar month.
Tuition Payment Options:
Families can pay the school year tuition in full at one time, or in monthly installments. Our secure payment portal accepts credit cards or direct payments from bank accounts (ACH).
 
Families must provide bank account or credit card information for program fees and any additional charges. Installments are the total due (tuition + registration fee) prorated over time that finish by May 5th. The first installment is due at the time of registration and each subsequent installment payment will be automatically processed on the 5th, or closest business day, of each month. 
 
Families need to notify Serious Fun in writing immediately of any changes to the credit card or banking information on file, to avoid failed and/or duplicate transactions. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Serious Fun is also registered for and accepts ACS child care vouchers to provide our program at no cost to families.
Financial Aid + Scholarships:
Serious Fun is committed to providing equity in access to the arts. Financial Aid and Scholarships are available for families needing full time care with a household income less than $87,500 annually, if enrolling one child, and less than $150,000 annually, if enrolling 2 or more children.

As a registered child care provider, the cost of the Serious Fun program can be deducted from federal income taxes for families that qualify. Please consult a tax professional for more information.

Enrichment + More After School
Each day Serious Fun offers a wide range of enrichment classes led by local professional teaching artists and arts partners. Children also enjoy a snack, child-choice time, active play, and homework help or quiet time until 5:45 pm.

Serious Fun is open on all days public schools are open, following the DOE calendar, except for school-scheduled ½ days, parent-teacher conferences (including Family Nights), and District holidays.
